The Federal Capital Territory Administration has set up committees to review the sale of government houses and park land titles in Abuja.

FCT Land Director, Chijioke Nwankwoeze, announced the move, saying it follows discoveries of serious irregularities in property sales.

The initiative was approved by Minister Nyesom Wike to restore transparency and ensure alignment with the 2003–2005 housing monetisation policy.

One committee will vet housing transactions, while another will focus on park plot titling and related land reforms.

Nwankwoeze says the goal is to sanitise the land administration system and rebuild public trust.
