Nigeria has secured $5.5 billion in private sector health investment under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
The Coordinating Minister of Health, Professor Muhammad Pate, announced the development on his X handle on Sunday.
He also revealed a new partnership with Empower School of Health, Geneva, to establish the Empower Academy Nigeria, Africa’s foremost pharmaceutical training institute.
The academy will train 2,000 Nigerian health professionals annually, with certification support from Africa CDC, WHO, and other global organizations.
Pate said the facility will be equipped with cutting-edge technology to build a skilled health workforce for Nigeria’s future.
