FG urged to tackle security challenges in Nigeria.

Anambra  State Organizing Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance,  APGA,  Mr. Anthony Nwakile, has called on the federal government to address the insecurity challenges facing the country. Mr Nwakile in a press statement on Nigeria’s 60th Independence anniversary, expressed deep concern over the menace of Boko Haram insurgents, incessant killings of Christians especially in Southern Kaduna, rising  cases of rape, and other acts of brigandage currently  bedeviling the nation.

He urged the federal government to urgently address these challenges to restore people’s confidence in government’s business.

According to him, government should create a conducive atmosphere where every Nigerian is made to have a sense of belonging.

 Mr.Nwakile further advocated the restructuring of the nation’s economy from a monolithic to a diversified economy with emphasis on Information Technology and Agriculture with the youths actively involved in the process.

On the education sector, the State APGA  Organizing Secretary suggested the adjustment of the nation’s educational curriculum with emphasis on addressing the needs of the people and not strictly tied to the demands of western education which places high premium on the literary and basic Sciences.

He prayed God to give the nation leaders with political will to effectively manage the nation’s abundant resources.

He paid tribute to governor Willie Obiano for his sound security network which has attracted huge investments to the state.
