Former Minister, Fani Kayode describes Anambra Airport As a Mind-blowing Project.

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has described the ongoing Anambra State International Airport as one that will turn out the best in the country.

He said that the Anambra airport is mind-blowing and It will have the longest runway in the country. It is wider, bigger than every airport.

Fani- Kayode said that the airport will attract more meaningful development to the state and country .

He made this known in Onitsha, during his visit to Gov. Willie Obiano, at the Governor’s Lodge, Onitsha.

He further said that Gov. Obiano is a blessing to the people of the state. He pays salaries to civil servants as an when due, irrespective of all these ongoing projects in the state.

The former minister also toured some other state projects in the state, where he commended the Government for the dedication in transforming the state.

Fani-Kayode, who observed that crime had significantly reduced in the state, recalled when the state was known for kidnapping and other criminalities.

He also said that today, Anambra is peaceful. It has a road network, streetlights everywhere. The Governor is also on good terms with the FG, which will also help to attract more development projects to the state.

Furthermore, he advised Gov. Obiano to take a decisive stand on who will succeed him. He must be a person, who must build on the legacies that he has established.

On the Igbo presidency, Mr Fani-Kayode pointed that it would be in line with equity for the South East to produce a president, so as to sustain stability and make them feel they belong to this country.
