Four Anambra Teachers Set For Presidential Excellence Award

Four teachers in Anambra State have been invited to receive awards for excellent performance in 2021
President’s Teachers and Schools’ Excellence Award.
One of the award-winning schools in the state, Akpakogwe Central School Ogidi, was also invited to the event slated for today, Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at the Eagles Square, Abuja.

In a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Basic Education, Nnaemeka Egwuonwu, the ministry gave the names of the teachers as Nwoye Njide, Nnabeze Bridget, Nzekwe Amaka and Nwankwo Ifeoma.

According to the letter of invitation by the Federal Ministry of Education, the winners will receive their awards at the 2021 World Teachers’ Day celebration, a concurrent event with the president’s awards ceremony which is an annual event.

It would be recalled that Anambra State had in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 consecutively won similar awards.
