Four Die, Two Hospitalized After Consuming Fish In Taraba
Report said four persons have been confirmed dead and two others in critical condition in hospital after consuming fish suspected to be poisonous in Taraba state.
Chairman of Takum Local Council, John Ali, who confirmed the incident to newsmen, said the tragic incident occured in the Kashimbila ward of Takum Local Council of the state
The Council Chaiman also informed that the victims, who were all herders, discovered and cooked the toxic fish near the Kashimbila Multi-Purpose Dam.
He assured that a team of investigators have gone to the affected community to assess the situation and offer support.
