A frontline aspirant in the November 6 governorship election in Anambra State, Dr Godwin Maduka, has donated 25 cars to the Peoples Democratic Party in the state.
Addressing Party officials and members who gathered to witness to occasion at the PDP Secretariat in Awka, the US based renowned medical practitioner said it was his utmost desire to transform Anambra State better than any other developed countries like Dubai.
He said he was not in the governorship race to make money or name as he already had these things, but to deploy his knowledge, wealth, exposure to lift Anambra State to higher pedestrian, adding that he has immeasurable wealth and visa to all the countries in world.
He said nothing would stop him from winning the governorship election if given the PDP ticket as he has the magic wand to turn around the fortunes of the state, just like ge did it in his hometown, Umuchukwu, where he used his personal funds to build infrastructure such as hospitals, courts, schools as well as houses for the lessprivileged
Dr Maduka explained that the cars were for the 21 local government secretaries of the party in the state, while four would be for the State Executive Committee of the party.
The PDP state chairman, Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu, thanked the donor for the immeasurable gesture praying God to reward him abundantly.
