
The Federal Road Safety Corps Anambra State Command has reported a road traffic crash involving two vehicles near Umuokpu Market along Awka-Onitsha old road yesterday. The spokes person of the Frsc in Anambra state RC paschal Anigbo revealed the Crash involved a Honda Accord with registration number BDG289AK and a Toyota Sienna without enlistment number occurred at about 8.20pm.
A total of Five (5) victims (2 male adults, 2 female adults and 1 male child). ( 1 female adult and 1 male child) sustained varying degrees of injuries. The injured victims were rushed to an unknown hospital by a good Samaritan before the arrival of the FRSC rescue team from Anambra State Sector Command, Awka. No death recorded.

Kumapayi frowns at the incessant recklessness of drivers plying major routes in Anambra State, particularly their non adherence to stipulated speed limits and disregard to road safety rules and regulations. He strongly warns motorists against violating road safety protocols.
RC Paschal Anigbo further informed the public that the Command is clamping down on drivers who violate recommended speed limits and other forms of dangerous driving. When caught, will be prosecuted in accordance with stipulated laws.
