The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has inaugurated the National, State and Local government campaign councils ahead of the November 6 Gubernatorial election .

Performing the inauguration at Dr Alex Ekwueme’s Square, Awka, the BoT Chairman, governor Willie Obiano, thanked the citizens for their support and charged them to go to work for the party’s victory.

Governor Obiano noted that with Professor Chukwuma Soludo as the party’s candidate, APGA will emerge victorious in the election.

The national chairman of APGA, Ozonkpu Dr. Victor Oye, thanked God for the Appeal court victories and INEC for the publication of Professor Chukwuma Soludo’s name as the authentic candidate of the party.

Dr. Oye declared that there is no faction in APGA and that APGA remains one indivisible party and advised party faithful to completely ignore political detractors.

In his brief remark, the APGA candidate for the election, Professor Soludo, expressed appreciation to the party for finding him worthy of flying the party’s flag.

He also thanked ndi Anambra for their supports as well as Governor Obiano for his fatherly support.

The former CBN governor said that Anambra State has faired very well under APGA government because, according to him, unemployment rate in the state was 56% in 2010 but has dropped to 14% and promised to consolidate on the achievements and also do more.

In their separate remarks, the former national chairman of APGA and the chairman of APGA Reconciliation Committee, Chief Senator Victor Umeh, and Honourable Chief Chinedu Obidigwe, Chairman of the Planning Committee, said that the All Progressives Grand Alliance is the only party to beat in the upcoming election because of her candidate Professor Charles Soludo and Governor Willie Obiano’s tremendous achievements.
