Governor Peter Obi Rewards Rangers Players For Nigeria Premier Football League Title

Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has announced a reward of 50 million Naira and other non-cash benefits for Rangers International Club of Enugu after they won the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League title.

The announcement was made during a celebration at the Government House in Enugu. Mbah praised the team for bringing honor and pride to the state, likening their victory to children returning home with distinctions.

The governor also highlighted the club’s role as a unifying factor for generations and assured continued support for further achievements.

The club’s General Manager, Amobi Ezeaku, acknowledged Mbah’s contributions, including restoring their home pitch, which played a crucial role in their success.
