Gunmen Kill Leader Of Vigilante Group, 2 Others In Anambra
Unknown assailants have murdered a top Anambra Vigilante Group (AVG) officer popularly known as Shaba.
The incident took place at a bar in Nkwo Market, Igbo Ukwu, Aguata LGA, Anambra State.
Report said the attackers drove to the bar, highlighted from the vehicle in commando style, then, opened fire on the two orderlies of the vigilante boss manning the entrance of the bar, before proceeding to shoot the AVG leader inside the bar.
While some people claimed that the AVG leader was part of the Ebubeagu personnel terrorising communities in the Southeast, some other people said that the killing was carried out by members of a kidnapping ring whose leader was busted by Shaba’s team some time ago.
