It has been alleged that some health workers are involved in selling fake Covid19 vaccination cards.
The executive director of the National Primary Healthcare Agency (NPHCDA), Faisal Shuaib in a briefing in Abuja on Tuesday said that the Department of State Services (DSS) and Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) are in collaboration with the agency to fish out the culprits.
Mr. Shuaib said that there is zero tolerance to these types of activities and once these individuals who are involved in the vaccination racketeering are cut and charged to court, the public service rules will be followed and that will lead to potential suspension and eventual dismissal from their jobs.
He also said that individuals promoting such criminal act will be prosecuted as the Agency is talking such issue very seriously as such act is putting the integrity of the vaccination process at risk.
Mr. Shuaib also called on Nigerians to report any suspected case of buying and selling Covid19 vaccination cards as it is dubious and criminal.
