The Immediate past Deputy Speaker and a former Majority Leader Anambra state House of Assembly, Rt Hon Harford Ikechukwu Oseke has congratulated Christians all over the world particularly those of Obizi and environ on 2020 Christmas celebration.
The Former Deputy Speaker who graced the Hon. Chukwuma Empowerment program, in his Christmas Message , described Christmas cerebration as a time of merriment, stock-taking and sober reflection which can also be ustilised to lift the needy and downtrodden out of poverty, commended Hon Chukwuma who is currently legislating for Awka South two in the state lawmaking theatre for his numerous people oriented program and policies.
Rt Hon. Harford urged Christians celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ to observe all the established covid19 protocol adding that with surge in the number of cases confirmed on daily basis, absolute personal hygiene has become indispensable thus period .
He commended the National Chairman of APGA , Ozo Nkpu Victor Oye for identifying with the grassroots despite bring the number one in National officer ranking which he noted serves as encouragement and affirmation that Ozo Nkpu is a man who believes in humility in service and prayed that the blessings that come with the birth of Jesus Christ to locate all families and wished all a covid19 free 2021.
Also speaking, Hon. Chukwuma Okoye who is the current lawmaker for Awka south Two, said he felicitates with our Christian brothers and sisters in particular and all Anambralian in general on this joyous occasion of Christmas 2020, commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ.
According to Hon. Chukwuma , Christmas season represents joy, peace, hope, love, goodwill and imminent salvation , adding that those worthy values which Advent of Jesus symbolize, are very much needed in our state and country at this time when we are confronted with diverse challenges like rising spate of armed banditry, kidnappings, insurgency, economic recession and upsurge of COVID-19 infections.
He said he enjoind fellow compatriots to appropriate the hope that comes with Christmas and urged all to reinvest trust in the Obiano Administration’s determination and unwavering commitment to better lives of anambralian.
