The State Lawmaker representing Awka South two in the state house of Assembly , Hon. Nze Chukwuma Pius Okoye has assured Ndi Obizi that he will continued to step down of Dividends of democracy as one of the ways to improve the general well-being of the constituents.
Hon. Chukwuma declared this during his empowerment program organized to empower the youths, market women and party faithfuls in his Amawbia residence, thanked Ndi Obizi for the tremendous support they have been giving him since he became their lawmaker in last General election.
In his adress, Hon. Chukwuma thanked the National Chairman of their Party, APGA Chief Dr. Ozo Nkpu Victor Oye for his presence during the program which he described his presence as an encouragement and also an affirmation that the national Chairman believes in grassroot development and empowerment.
He thanked the emeritus Obizi lawmaker and immediate past Deputy Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Harford Oseke for his fatherly advice , guidance and encouragement to him, which he noted has yielded in APGA dominance in the constituents promising to sustain the acts of good works and philanthropism he was known for while in office.
While handing over five brand new shuttle bus, motorcycles and hairdresser driers to the respective beneficiaries, Nze. Chukwuma assured the constituents he will sustain the Empowerment program and develop other framework to make improvements where challenges were encountered during program in future excercize.
On his Part, the National Chairman of All progressive Grand Alliance, APGA Ozo Nkpu Victor Oye, in his contribution described Hon. Chukwuma Okoye as Good human being who believes that society can be better through giving and assisting fellow human.
He added that with this program, Hon Chukwuma has exemplified that spirit of Onye aghana Nwa Nne ya., which he said was foundational philosophy APGA was known for.
While assuring Ndi Anambra that Anambra Airport at Umueri will be ready for use In April 2021, he thanked the Executive Governor of Anambra state for remaining people oriented despite hardly economic conditions across board even as he maintained that APGA as political party does not have any opposition in forthcoming gubernatorial election in 2021.
Handing over of a modern two bedrooms bungalow, with Air conditioning system, with power source supplied for free from Hon. Chukwuma mansion, cash distribution , sharing of Palliatives and Christmas gift to Party Executive, indigent and widow selected across Obizi Communities were some of the memorable moments of the event which Rt. Hon Harford Oseke, Hon. Nnamdi Okafor of Awka Constitutiency One, Hon. Cate Dike, Hon. Leo Nwuba, the Awka South city mayor, including the traditional Ruler of Amawbia, Igwe Molokwu , Igwe Egwuonwu of Umuawulu and numerous others also attended.
