The immediate past Caretaker President General of Agulu Town Union, Hon Onyebuchi Okpala, has said time has come for Anambra Central Senatorial Zone to feel the impact quality representation and lawmaking at the National Assembly.
Hon. Okpala who made the statement on his arrival at the Anambra state international Airport Umueri via an Arik Jet Flight, after picking his nomination form for Senate on the platform of African Democratic Congress, was recieved by friends, party Executives, different Market Associations and other stakeholders from Central Senatorial Zone.
Speaking to press, Hon Onyebuchi Okpala revealed that having served as a President General Agulu of town Union and also, meritoriously as a Senior Special Adviser to former Governor Obiano Administration in different ministries and assignments, has availed him preliquiste experience, exposure and courage needed to bring the challenges facing central zone before the government.
He maintained as a young man, he has the zeal and energy needed to be a vibrant Senator at the red chambers, who would be speaking for Anambra Central, Anambra State and Ndi Igbo.
He assured the people of Central Senatorial Zone that plights facing the women and youth would be tackled as he said that framework to be articulating them periodically is already being developed and a lasting solution created as he would establish a functional Senatorial offices with necessary manpowers, in all the seven Local Government Area of Senatorial zone.
He thanked the Party Executives, from National to ward levels for what he described as absolute support and encouragement assuring them that he would run an all inclusive lawmaking and representation if elected.
Contributing, Engr. Ifeanyi Okoli, a Stakeholder of Party described Hon Onyebuchi as a man who walk the talk, explaining that when Hon. Onyebuchi was the President General of Agulu, he led war against consumption mkpuru Mmiri and constructed many link roads in Agulu which he said were some of the things that made him a popular name in the nooks and crannies of Anambra state.
He added that Hon Onyebuchi is a lover of the youth and humanity explaining that any body who fought consumption of hard drugs despite inherent risk, doesn’t want such youths to perish, urging others across party lines to vote him massively in the coming 2023 general election.
