In a similar development , the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Uche Okafor says, the state Legislature will continue to enact laws and resolutions aimed at total development of the state as well as the improvement of the living standard of the citizenry.
In his goodwill message , first , to the Governor of Anambra state Chief Willie Obiano and Ndi Anambra on behalf of the state Legislature, Right Honourable Okafor noted that though the state had recorded some measure of success at different times in the past years, the Obiano administration has been able to achieve sustainable development in all sectors of the state’s economy.
The Speaker extolled the efforts of the founding fathers of the state, and enjoined politicians to see the peace and development of the state as a collective responsibility.
He expressed satisfaction with the cordial relationship existing among the three arms of government in the state and commended Governor Obiano for moving the state to enviable height through good governance.
Right Honourable Okafor called on affluent citizens to support Governor Obiano’s Community Chose Your Project Initiative by committing part of their resources to the development of their communities.
While praying God to continue to strengthen Governor Obiano in his developmental drives in the state, the Speaker enjoined Ndi Anambra to uphold those virtues and attributes that would project the image of the state
