The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Mohammed Bello has been summoned by the House Of Representatives with regards to the rising cases of insecurity in the Nation’s capital.
He was invited after the house adopted the motion based on Urgent Public importance, which was moved by deputy minority leader of the house, Toby Okechukwu during plenary on Tuesday.
The federal capital territory has in recent weeks seen an upsurge in activities of armed men.
Okechukwu, while leading the debate, stated that urgent steps must be taken to protect lives and property in the FCT.
