INEC Issues Certificates Of Return To Anambra State Assembly Members-Elect

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has presented a Certificate of Return to the Member-Elect, Awka South II Constituency, Hon. Chukwuma Okoye, for the 8th legislature of Anambra State.

The certificate was presented to Hon. Okoye by the Resident Electoral Commissioner in Anambra State, Dr. Queen Elizabeth Agwu on the 31st of March 2023.

This followed a mini reception in his country home at Amawbia where He spoke to our correspondents that were present. In his speech, He dedicated his victory to the good people of Awka South II Constituency for the massive support they gave to him during the just concluded State Assembly election.

He further extended a hand of fellowship to other contestants in the just concluded election, noting that “unanimity of purpose is critical to achieving a continued efficient representation.”

In his own speech, Hon Ekemezie Obinna Innocent, also known as Nzeabata Umuawulu, the DG Nwanayoze campaign organisation thanked God for giving Nwanayoeze the victory which he termed “10/11” and assured the people of Obizi 11 constituency of more quality representation.

In the same vein, Hon Nwosu Christian Chukwuma, one of the coordinators of Nwanayoeze campaign organisation thanked God who granted them victory after the March 18 State Assembly election. He described Nwanayoeze as a sincere and God fearing person who will stop at nothing in helping those in need as it is evident in the lives of the people in his constituency who have benefited in his several empowerment schemes.

Similarly and in their separate responses, Comrade Maduabuchi Egbocha, also known as Ukwa Mbaukwu, Hon. Victor Udeozor, and Miss Madu Amarachi Blessing described Nwanayoeze as the mind of the people of Obizi just like His name “Ozo Mkpulu Obi” depicts. They also prayed for God’s Grace upon his life.
