The light heavy weight Champion Jude Ilo, popular known as great Jude Ilo yesterday defeted Jimoh Nojeem to defend his belt as the Champion.
the fight which took place at the National Stadium surulere’s Brai Ayonote Boxing Gymnasium, had Ilo knock Jimoh out in the 4th round to maintain his Championship belt.
Speaking to our correspondent after the fight, Jude who hails from Agulu pointed out that Anambra has in aboundance talented youths and boxers but the government both federal and state has derailed in providing support the needed support to groom the Athletes.
Ilo further noted that the current training facilities for Boxing in Nigeria and Anambra are dysfunctional while attributing his victory to hard work and support from his fans.
Jude Ilo asserted his readiness to always defend his title as boxing is his passion.
