Master Ikebudu Emerges Senior Prefect Nwafor Orizu College, Demonstration Secondary School, Awka, for 2022/ 2023 Session.

Master Daniel Ikebudu has emerged as the Senior Prefect of Nwafor Orizu College Education, Nsugbe, Demonstration Secondary School, Awka, for the 2022/ 2023 Session.

The election which was keenly contested is the first of its kind since the inception of the school in 2015.

Master Ikebudu scored 398 votes to emerge the winner, while his opponent, Master Onyebuchi Ugwuonwa, scored 66 votes.

Miss Mary Sandra Eneh scored 380 votes to clinch the position of Assistant Senior Prefect ( Head Girl).

Master Chidera Obi scored 309 votes to emerge the Labour Prefect against his opponent Onyebuchi Ugwuonwa, who got 78 votes.

Princess Uzogo polled 323 votes to emerge the Social Prefect, against Nkasi Emmanuella who had 118 votes.

Miss Love Gift polled 308 to clinch the position of Library Prefect, but Favour Ezetocha scored 115 votes.

Also, Miss Nnaji Chinecherem scored 344 votes to become the Sanitation Prefect against Victoria Mgbada who polled 131 votes.

Master Chukwudebelu Chukwuebuka got 257 votes to become the Games Perfect, while Master Mathias Chibueze scored 187 votes.

Master Victor Isuelenna also polled a total of 353 votes to emerge the Regulator Perfect as against his opponent Master Ezenkwu Anthony who had 160 votes

Addressing the students shortly after administering the Oath of Allegiance, the principal of the School, Mr Gabinus Ukah, expressed satisfaction with the turnout and conduct of students.

Mr Ukah cautioned them to take their studies seriously and shun all forms of social vices such as cultism, tapping, stealing, capable of dragging the name of the school into the mud.

He further advised the students to shun Examination Malpractice as well as Enrol in Special Centers.

Mr Ukah assured us that the College would continue to maintain Excellence in knowledge, Virtue and Service which is the Motto of the school.

On her part, the Dean of Studies / INEC Secretary of the school, Mrs Chioke Favour, expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the election, describing it as a free, fair and credible election.

Master Ikebudu,.in his Acceptance Speech, promised to live up to expectations.#
