Morocco advanced to the semi-finals of the Olympic men’s football tournament by defeating the USA 4-0.
Captain Achraf Hakimi was among the scorers, along with Soufiane Rahimi, Ilias Akhomach, and Mehdi Maouhoub.
Rahimi opened the scoring with a penalty, followed by goals from Akhomach and Hakimi, with Maouhoub sealing the victory with another penalty in stoppage time.
Morocco, who topped their group ahead of Argentina, will face either Japan or Spain in the semi-finals.
The match was held at Parc des Princes, supported by a large Moroccan crowd.
The final is scheduled for August 9.
