In a statement signed by the Ministry of Interior’s Spokesperson, Mohammed Manga, the Interior Minister, Rauf Aregbesola, congratulated Muslim faithful on the celebration, and tasked them to imbibe the spirit of love, patience and perseverance which are the virtues of the Holy Prophet Muhammed.
He also called on Nigerian Youths to embrace peace and cooperate with the present government to build a strong Nation to the pride of everyone.
The federal government has earlier declared today public holiday to mark the event.
