Mr. Bonvera Ndubuisi of Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, Awka, has charged the church and the family institutions to rise to the growing challenges of cultism and moral decadence among the youths.

Mr. Ndubuisi who spoke during the Feast of St Patrick’s in Awka believes that serious interventions by the two institutions will help stem the high rise in criminality in society.

He expects them to live up to expectations in moulding the character of the youths for a better society.

Mr. Ndubuisi commended the Bishop of the Diocese, Most Reverend Dr. Paulinus Ezeokafor, for his fatherly disposition towards moving the Awka diocese to greater heights.

He also commended governor Chukwuma Soludo for his exemplary disposition to governance after his swearing-in, urging the citizenry to support his administration.

Mr. Ndubuisi was among those who bagged an Award of Excellence during the Feast of St Patrick, celebrated every 17th day of March.
