Wife of the Anambra State Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo, has enjoined Nigerians to always show genuine love and kindness toward one another and not only in Valentine’s Day.
Dr Soludo gave the advice in her goodwill message to mark this year’s Valentine’s Day celebration
Valentine’s Day is observed on 14th February, every year.
She described true love as one expressed through kindness, compassion and selfless actions toward others.:
Dr Soludo, Founder of Healthy Living initiative, maintained that love should go beyond the annual celebration, urging people to show care and generosity at all times, especially to those in need.
“Acts of love, no matter how small, can leave lasting positive impacts on individuals and communities.“I encouraged families and friends to use the occasion to strengthen bonds while also extending kindness to people around them,” she said.
Soludo further advised citizens to ensure that their words and actions reflect goodwill, humanity and affection by expressing love and affection through messages and gestures shared with partners, family members and friends.
According to Mrs Soludo, society becomes better when people embrace empathy and mutual respect.She wished residents a joyful Valentine’s Day celebration and urged them to spread love across communities
