Namkpu Youth To Cut Down Any Tree Six feet or 2 Meters Away/From Uncoated Power Next Saturday

In an attempt to forestall the preventable epileptic power supply in Mbaukwu, Namkpu youths , ably led by their Chairman, Mr. Nonso Ebede has will cut any Tree that is 6 feet or 2 meters away from any Uncoated power line.

This was in response to professional suggestions by the team of EEDC Engineers who have investigating the reason behind the outage in the area in the recent time.

At least in the last 72 hours , the area has witnessed over 60 hours of uninterrupted power supply and it was linked to good number of trees already brought down over the Weeknd because it was interfering with Uncoated powerline.

On Saturday 5th of August 2023, the Youths visited Ndiagu radius to have a first hand knowledge of the situation there and discovered that Ndiagu seems to be the summit of the Challenge.

Along the road that leads to Haba River from Ndiagu bus stop, it was discovered that place needs one pole to support a sagging Uncoated power line as you can even touch the uncoated wire by merely raising one’s hand.

For these reasons, Namkpu youth is appealing to anyone that his or her Trees are touching any Uncoated wire to engage the service of dulmer and do the cutting by himself before the coming Saturday which is 12th of August.

If this is not done, the chairman insisted that the Youths have already contracted a Dulmer to liberate all those Uncoated power lines from this obstruction.

He insisted that any Tree that is 6 feet or 2 meters away or from any Uncoated power line shall be fell down not just because of power supply but to also save our people from dangers of electrocutions.

In the end, the chairman commended Mr Paul Orazue, Barr Ifedi Josiah and Chief Sam Okoye alongside numerous others for their unwavering patriotism towards Namkpu and youths affairs. He described their encouragements as lavishly practical, assuring that the fund already acknowleged from them will go a long way in getting a lot implemented to solve the lingering power challenge.
