
The voting population in Anambra has been called to get involved in the political process of choosing credible leaders by getting registered to vote.
African Democratic Congress (ADC) gubernatorial candidate in the November 6 election, Chief Akachukwu Nwankpo, urged people to register with INEC so as to be eligible to vote in the forthcoming election.
Speaking through the Director-General and Head Media/Strategy of Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo Campaign Organisation, Dr. Harris- Chums Ogene, on Saturday, he said people should understand that decisions are taken in politics based on the majority of opinions, therefore, it is important that people should get involved so that decisions are taken in their interest.
He also advised his supporters to read widely, read newspapers and be alive on social media for information so they will be politically literate. He also told them to attend their community meetings, build strong networks and be on good terms with local groups so they can easily influence people to join their party.
He strongly encouraged them to identify their ward which has to be the locality where try will most conveniently carry out their political duties.
