New victims of Coronavirus have been detected in a college in Oyo state.
The discovery was made known by the State’s Covid-19 task force and was contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Seyi Makinde, Mr Taiwo Adisa.
The statement noted that the Covid-19 task force immediately locked in the institution to keep staff, students and the general public safe. Contact tracing has also started and contacts placed under surveillance to contain the spread of the disease.
The statement also notified the general public of the recent resurgence of cases of Coronavirus in the state.
The statement also stated that the Oyo State government is responsive and responsible . It also admonished all residents to ensure due compliance with the directives and all Covid-19 prevention protocols as earlier stipulated , to enable a successful limitation of virus transmission.
