Anambra state government has bemoaned the ugly gate that befell the former governor Peter Obi’s family on the 26th of December when fire destroyed the multi billion Next International shopping mall in Abuja.
In a statement signed by the State Commissioner For Information and Public Enlightenment, C.Don Adinuba, he called it a tremendous loss to not only the Obi family but also to Anambra people who are known for their global entrepreneurial skills.
Anambra state government also appreciated the men of the fire service whose prompt response helped to extinguish the fire, while also commending individuals who helped to secure the goods by removing them from the burning site.
