Paris Saint-Germain are set to be without their star man, Neymar for the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash against Barcelona. The Brazilian was forced off in the side’s 1-0 win against Caen on Wednesday with a thigh issue and team-mate Moise Kean had initially raised hopes he would be fine to play his former side.
However, French newspaper reports that Neymar’s scan results have shown a grade two tear and he is definitely out of the first leg. The results suggest that Neymar will be sidelined for a month, which would give him an outside possibility of returning in time for the second leg in Paris.
Report also have it that Neymar will be furious to miss the opportunity of returning to the Camp Nou given that it was Barcelona that he departed in 2017 to become the most expensive player in history.
