Nigeria has signed a Bilateral Air Services Agreement with Canada to enhance air connectivity between both nations.
The agreement, signed in Abuja by Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo and Canadian authorities, is a code-share arrangement allowing airlines to sell seats on each other’s flights, ensuring smoother travel for passengers.
Keyamo said the deal will deepen diplomatic and economic ties while benefiting Nigerian airline operators.
Canada’s High Commissioner, Pasquale Salvaggio, lauded the move, expressing readiness to strengthen aviation relations.
The agreement is expected to improve access to cities without needing extra flights.
