Nigeria records 310 new cases of Coronavirus

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has revealed that on the 5th of December 2020, 310 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus were recorded in Nigeria.

In it update on the COVID-19 pandemic, NCDC said 1 death was also recorded.

Till date, 68,937 cases have been confirmed, out of which 64,650 cases have been discharged.

According to NCDC report, 1,180 deaths have also been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

NCDC said the 310 new cases were reported from 12 states as follows

FCT (128), Lagos (86),
Kaduna (26), Katsina (20),
Rivers (19), Oyo (7),
Benue (5), Edo (5),
Jigawa (5), Ogun (5),
Bayelsa (2) and Kano (2)
