Nigeria yesterday, recorded 499 new cases of coronavirus infections, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 30,748.
The update, disclosed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday night, revealed that Lagos state is still leading with the highest number of confirmed cases in the country as the state yesterday, recorded 157 new cases.

NCDC said of the 30,748 confirmed cases in the country, 12,546 patients have been treated and discharged, while 689 deaths have also been recorded.
