The Super Eagles garnered all available nine points in the Group with a commanding display, beating Guinea Bissau 2-0 on Wednesday evening to achieve this.
Sadiq Umar scored the first goal in the 56th minute to put Nigeria ahead against Guinea Bissau in their Group D encounter at the Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday in Garoua, Cameroon.
He scored through Kelechi Iheanacho’s assist.
William Troost-Ekong scored Nigeria’s second goal for the evening after a sensational dribble by Moses Simon.
Simon’s shot hit the bar after he dribbled three opponents before Ekong scored from the rebound.
