The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced a total of 189 new COVID-19 infections in the country.
The country also recorded one additional death from the rampaging virus.
With the latest number of cases, Nigeria has so far recorded a total 57,145 cases.
The breakdown of the figure released by NCDC shows Lagos State recording 70 new cases, while Plateau State trailed with 37 cases.

The release further showed that a total of 48, 431 persons have been discharged while the country has also recorded 1,095 deaths so far.
