Nigerians Await Results Of Saturday’s Presidential, National Assembly Results
Nigerians are now waiting for results of Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly results which took place across the country.
Four major candidates who contested for the Presidential election are Bola Ahmed Tinubu of All Progressive Congress, APC, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP, Rabiu Kwankwaso of New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
Speaking after casting Hus vote in his home town, Agulu, Anaocha Council Area, the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, noted that so far, the election was peaceful across the state especially in the area.
He called on all to come out and cast their votes, adding that everybody should join hands to salvage the situation as things are not moving well in the country.
Obi reminded the citizens that they do not have any other country except Nigeria, therefore, they should all join hands to redeem it.
On whether he stepped down for any other candidate, Obi dismissed it as mere rumour pointing out that if there was anything like that, it was for him other candidates should step down for as he has the solution to the country’s problems, and moreover, he is both physically and mentally fit for the task ahead.
