Improving healthy lifestyle and eating healthy food has been described as a way of preventing diseases and untimely death. This assertion was made by a health and agricultural expert, Engr. Victor Ifeanyichukwu during a training program for farmers at Kpakpando Radio Station.
Engr. Ifeanyichukwu who spoke on the health and medicinal values of lime, stated that eating fruits and vegetables in moderation was the key in fighting diseases and other health conditions.
The Afri Farms boss advised Nigerians to take advantage of the health benefits of lime to reduce the risk of heart attacks, prevent kidney stone and promote healthy skin, among others.
Engr, Ifeanyichukwu called on all the tiers of the government to invest in agriculture as a way of boosting the health and economic wellbeing of the nation.
One of the participants in the program, Mr. C.C Emeh, spoke on the importance of farming among Nigerians to create employment and to improve the food basket of the nation.
