In preparation for the Nigeria National League (NNL), the National League one (NLO), recently organized Super8 Championship for the eight (8) clubs that gained promotion into the league.
Aspire FC of Adazi-ani, who played their games with fatigue and injuries to pull a draw in their last game, are in need to buy players to reinforce their team ahead of the Nigeria National League (NNL)
According to team manager Austin Amakom, his team lost the first two games out of injuries and an inability to get a suitable replacement for the injured ones ahead of the game. He also pointed out that his frontline was wasteful in delivering goals, but insisted that his team gave in their best.
Amakom noted that scouting for players will soon commence to reinforce the team ahead of the Nigeria National League campaign and commended the Director for his support so far and urged him to continue to support and provide for the team as he will not regret investing in the team.
The President of Collins Edwin FC Mr Uche who was on the ground to witness the match said that Aspire FC has promising players but said there is a need to separate passion and business to thrive in the football business. He also said that Aspire FC has a good team that needs to be invested in.
Uche described Aspire FC’s place in Nigeria National League (NNL), as an opportunity to showcase the team and engage football agents and scouts for an opportunity to sell their good players as the business aspect of the game.
Also at the event was The President of Aspire FC, Chief Dr Emeka Okeke who has been on the ground promoting, developing and attracting football activities and opportunities to Anambra’s promising youths, and has also begun to bankroll the selected FC Bayern Munich U-16 Youth Cup to Germany.
The project of “My Anambra Football” initiated by Dr Emeka Okeke the immediate past Caretaker Chairman Anambra football Association (ANSFA) brought lots of activities in the state which is now paying off.
