Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mele Kyari, has assured Nigerians that there would be no strain in the supply of petroleum products.

He made this known on Tuesday in Lagos at a strategic conference themed ‘Petroleum Industry Act: Energy Transition and the Future of Nigeria’s Oil and Gas,’ organised by the National Association of Energy Correspondents of Nigeria (NAEC).

Countering the speculation making rounds in the media that there is fuel scarcity, he said that the country has over 1.7 billion litres of Premium Motor Spirit available.

He also said that there is another 2.3 billion litres coming in, so there is no shortage in supply as being speculated.

Affirmed that there are issues about pricing at some depots, he however, said the government has no plan to revise the pricing structure.
