The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has dismissed reports of tension in Anambra State ahead of President Bola Tinubu’s visit scheduled for Thursday, May 8.

In a press release on Sunday, Chinedu Obigwe, National Coordinator of the APGA Media Warriors Forum, described the claims of political tension as false and orchestrated.

Obigwe blamed what he called a “pay-as-you-go writer” for fabricating the story to create panic and justify payments from opposition interests.

He affirmed that the people of Anambra are in a celebratory mood, commending Governor Charles Soludo for his performance.

Obigwe insisted there is no clash of interest between APGA and APC in the state and urged the public to disregard the misleading reports.
