Okpotokpo Adaigbo worldwide drums support for fight against sexual offenders.

The Okpotokpo Adaigbo Worldwide led by it’s Coordinator Mrs Ogochukwu Okparasili yesterday paid a visit to the Commissioner of Police Anambra State CP John B.Abang in Awka during a peaceful rally against rape and other sexual violence in the State.

According to the group, the rally is to express their concern over increasing cases of rape and other sexual violence against women.

The association also stated that the victims families,friends and indeed the entire Society suffers permanent social and psychological effects throughout their lives.

They also advocates stiffer penalties for the perpetrators sexual offenders.

The Commissioner of Police represented by the PPRO,SP Haruna Mohammed assured them of the Command’s readiness to support the association towards realising their goal of making Anambra a Rape free State.

The CP further stated that the Command under his watch will continue to partner with the association and other Stakeholders in order to enhance safety and Security in the State.
