In a swift response to recent reports of Prince Harry’s comments on Nigeria, former presidential spokesperson Reno Omokri through X.com has launched a scathing critique of the Duke of Sussex.

Omokri accused Prince Harry of de-marketing Nigeria and urged him to focus on addressing issues in his own country.

Omokri’s comments come in the wake of Prince Harry’s visit to Nigeria, where he promised support for wounded soldiers but allegedly referred to some areas as unsafe territory.

Reno Omokri said that if Prince Harry felt Nigeria was ‘unsafe,’ he should not have visited as his actions paint Nigeria in a negative light and overshadow the positive aspects of our nation.

Omokri challenged the portrayal of Nigeria as unsafe, pointing out that more people have died from knife crimes in London than in Abuja.

Omokri said that Prince Harry should focus on addressing issues like knife crimes in his own country rather than de-marketing Nigeria.

Netizens have said that the controversy surrounding Prince Harry’s comments shows international perceptions of Nigeria.
