President Tinubu Expected In Anambra Today In A One-Day State Visit
Soludo urges Ndi Anambra to join in giving Mr President a rousing welcome
President Bola Tinubu is expected in Anambra state today, Thursday, May 8th, 2025, on a state visit.
A release signed by the state Commissioner for Information, Dr Law Mefor, said during the historic visit, the President will commission some projects of the Soludo administration, showcasing the state’s progress and development under the leadership of Solution Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo.
He said that all arrangements have been concluded for the high-powered visit, and further announced that the government anticipates slight adjustments to traffic flow and commuter schedules.
Mefor urged Ndi Anambra to cooperate with security agencies and other relevant authorities in the build-up to the visit.
According to him, Ndi Anambra are excited to welcome the President to the State, assuring him of a warm and hospitable reception.
The release also expressed government’s appreciation for their understanding, cooperation, and support in ensuring a hitch-free and memorable visit by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Anambra state government expressed confidence that together, they will give the President and his delegation a resounding welcome.
