Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag insists his team still has a strong chance to win a trophy this season, despite a heavy 3-0 defeat to Liverpool at Old Trafford. The loss included two quick goals from Luis Diaz in the first half, followed by a third from Mohamed Salah shortly after the break.
The defeat left United in 14th place in the Premier League with just three points from their first three games. Despite this, Ten Hag, who fielded a team with six of his own signings, dismissed any notion of a quick fix, saying that it is not like he is Harry Potter. He said that for three players, it was their first start of the season.
The Dutch manager remains optimistic about the team’s potential as they aim to turn their season around.
