
The Incident happened at about 6.30am, Friday 14 August, 2020.
RC Pascal A. Anigbo Anambra State Sector Public Education Officer, RC Pascal Anigbo, the crash involved a Mack Trailer with registration number RUM646XA.

He said the driver whose identity was given as, “Wilson Chukwunaru Chibruisi”, was reported to have lost control of the vehicle, due to excessive speed, resulting to the fatal crash.
One out of the Two male adults involved, was confirmed dead by doctors at Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Agulu, where he was rushed to by an FRSC rescue team from Nanka Outpost.
The Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps Anambra State, CC Andrew Kumapayi, said he was saddened by the unfortunate crash which could have been easily averted if the driver had maintained recommended speed limit, while also applying common sense speed limit.

He therefore warned motorists against over speeding and other forms of dangerous driving, stating that drivers who are caught driving recklessly would be sanctioned.
The State’s FRSC Sector Commander condoled with the family of the deceased.
