The Anambra State Police Command on Wednesday, 8th October 2025, received a fresh deployment of over seventy newly passed-out constables from the Police Training College, Oji River, Enugu State.
The new officers, who recently completed their training, form part of the ongoing efforts of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, to strengthen the manpower capacity across the Federation and enhance community policing at the grassroots level.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, assured the that the officers would be deployed strategically across divisions and formations to enhance visibility policing, intelligence gathering, and prompt response to security situations.
