Oyo NSCDC Arrests Vigilante Officer, Rescues 7 Over Attack On Fulani Settlement

Oyo State Command of Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on Tuesday paraded a security guard, an official of Vigilante Guard of Nigerian (VGN), for allegedly attacking a Fulani settlement.

According to a copy of a press release made available to newsmen in Ibadan stated that the state Commandant Iskilu Akinsanya this morning paraded a 323 for an alleged attack on Fulani settlement in ogbomosho.

According to the statement signed by the Command Public Relation Officer Superintendent Oluwole Olusegun maintained that the commandant at about 01: 24hrs early this morning was called by Miyetti Allah Chairman Ogbomosho branch Muhammad Mahmud that there was an attack at the Fulanis settlement in Idigba Olomi by some hoodlums numbering about six.

The statement further stated as thus: The Agro Ranger in Ogbomosho /Oyo Axis swung into action and a suspect named Tajudeen Sheu a VGN and in a VGN attire was arrested.
