The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has decried the collapse of the nation’s security, command and control structure under the current administration led by the All Progressives Congress, APC, especially with regard to the recent security breach by terrorists at the Kaduna International Airport last week.
In a statement attributed to Debo Ologunagba, PDP’s spokesperson, it was appalling that there was no mention of the security breach by President Muhammadu Buhari nor the APC at the Convention on Saturday, 26th March, which Mr Ologunagba claimed was an indication the current administration has conceded sovereignty over parts of the country to terrorists.
The PDP spokesman also said that under President Buhari, terrorists have established sovereignty in substantial parts of the country, especially in the North West and North East regions, where terrorists execute laws and impose penalties, control commercial and transportation activities and boldly take control of an international airport with grave negative consequences to the national image in the world.
He said that the country has never had it this bad before now and said there was need to rescue the nation from the precipice and restore the unity ad security of the people.
