Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, has filed a 51-ground appeal with the Supreme Court to challenge the Presidential Election Petition court’s judgment and the election of President Bola Tinubu.
Obi is arguing that the Election Petitions Court made legal errors, including dismissing his petition for not specifying polling units with irregularities and not specifying suppressed or inflated vote figures.
He also alleges that the court wrongly struck out parts of his petition and violated his right to fair hearing by dismissing his witnesses’ evidence as incompetent.
Obi claims that the tribunal ignored his allegation that INEC uploaded blurred results and issued documents with blurred results and unknown persons’ images.
