Police arrest a 25-year-old who participated in the attack on a police station in Anambra State.

A man who is suspected to have participated in the September 30 attack on the Ajalli Police station have been arrested by the Police in Anambra State

Recall that Ajalli Police Station in Orumba North had been attacked by gunmen, and the station was also looted by unidentified persons, during the reign of unknown gunmen, during the run-up to the Anambra governorship election.

In a report by the Razor News Online, the state police command’s spokesperson, DSP Toochukwu Ikenga confirmed that one of the attackers was on Christmas day arrested by men of the command.

The suspect, Emmanuel Nwafor was arrested with a motorcycle on Christmas day, and the motorcycle is said to be part of the properties looted from the station.

According to the statement, Ikenga said that the suspect, 25-year-old Emmanuel Nwafor was arrested By Operatives Of Ajalli Division On 25th December 2021. The suspect was found with one of the exhibit motorcycles looted from Ajalli Police Station During The Attack By Hoodlums On 30th Sept. 2021.

The PPRO said the suspect was already helping the police with useful information.
