President Buhari expresses Satisfaction on Projects Done so far, Assures Nigerians Of Equitable Distribution of Wealth.

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed satisfaction that the present administration has made progress on all fronts , in spite of the multiple challenges that have arisen since inception of office.

The President made this known at the end of the first Year ministerial performance review retreat at the State House Conference Center , Abuja yesterday.

While commending the commitment and resilience of the Ministers to the cardinal aspiration of this Administration, he reminded them that the Nigerian people expect dedication and commitment from them in implementing policies, programmes and projects to improve the quality of lives and set Nigeria on the path of prosperity.

President Buhari reassured Nigerians that the present administration remains absolute in initiating programmes aimed at improving the quality of lives and uplifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty over the next ten years.

He reiterated that his administration is bent on ensuring equitable distribution of the nation’s wealth as they aim to gradually close the gap between the different classes to bring joy to a greater number of citizens.

In a related development, President Buhari has pointed out successful projects which his administration has embarked on and their attendent results.

He mentioned the Anchor Borrowers Programme ad the Presidential Fertilizer Initiative which emanated as a result of the renewed vigour in the agricultural sector.

He stated that the railway projects are ongoing with a view f connecting different parts of the country. He also mentioned that work is ongoing at the 2nd Niger Bridge and at the moment is at 46% completion. He equally expressed hope that the project will be commissioned before the end of his tenure in 2023.

While addressing Ministers at the First Ministerial Conference in Abuja, he called for synergy among iplementing Ministries, Departments and Agencies .

Further more, he charged Ministers , Permanent Secretaries and all Heads of Parastatals to be continuously conscious of their commitments and responsibilities to Nigerians.
